The DigiCirc Demoday, final event of the bioeconomy acceleration programme, will be held on Wednesday 6th July 2022 in Leonard:Paris Incubator – 6, Place du Colonel Bourgoin in Paris (France)

During one day, 14 consortia of SMEs from across Europe will pitch their innovative solutions for sustainable cities in front of a jury of experts. The competition will reward 5 of them for receiving €100.000 to develop further their solutions.

Meet the Jurors

Pierre Padilla

Heads at N-ABLE, a company dedicated to the acceleration of innovation investments

Pierre supported the financing of various companies (large corporates and SMEs) as well as R&D centres for their green and circular innovations. Among others, he coordinates the Alliance for Industrial Circular Economy Investment. He advised various governments on their circular economy strategy (Bulgaria, Slovenia, European Commission, etc.) and facilitated the financing for greentech and circular innovations for different companies – both corporates and SMEs – as well as R&D centers.

Erwan Le Bourhis

Senior Consultant at N-ABLE

Erwan Le Bourhis has more than 20 years of experience as a financial expert. He was in charge of the business line for mobility experiences Michelin, has oversaw company acquisitions and integrations, including: reporting and dashboard set-up, process and standard harmonization, business reviews. He has also took part in executive activities such as: support and recommendation for growth and new business (M&A, business plan, due diligence, etc…), business planning and medium-term plan, etc. Erwan has accumulated extensive experience in building and transforming administrative and financial systems within private organizations of all sizes.

Kari Poikela

Senior recycling and bioeconomy expert at DigiPolis

He has a background in process engineering and industrial management. He is currently to Programme Manager for Industrial Circular Economy at DigiPolis, Member of the Board Pohjaset Oy and a Senior Specialist at Lapland University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he was leading the development of industrial competence and industrial service business competitiveness in Circular Economy through industrial symbiosis and residues utilisation in Northern Finland. He has direct experience in Circular business in the recycling sector.
