DigiCirc is an innovation ecosystem above all.
We bring together companies – small & large-, public bodies and researchers to work together to address an important need: making our economy more sustainable. We plan to accomplish this by making it “circular”: using material and energy more efficiently, for a longer time, and making sure that leftovers and waste get used by someone else as their input.
DigiCirc is an idea.
To meet our ambition above, DigiCirc promotes new digital technologies as useful tools to track and communicate the state, location and quality of materials, especially ones that are byproducts or waste. This allows organisations to work together better, and design operations that are efficient and circular.
DigiCirc is a 3-accelerator programme.
We will organise 3 business acceleration programmes, online and physical, to support SME/startup innovation for the circular economy domain, helping them make use of digital technologies. We focus on 3 thematic areas:
- circular cities
- bioeconomy, and
- blue economy
DigiCirc is a cross-European project.
Supported by the European Union (Grant agreement number 873468), we bring together a team of complementary partners from across Europe. Clusters, business experts, circular professors, tech developers, consultants and designers.
We call on the bold pioneers from across Europe to join us: out of duty, out of necessity, out of opportunism, and out of altruism.
