GTW: GreenThermoWall

By combining two disruptive technologies: LeafSkin™ vegetation from SingularGreen and Safe-PUR® insulation foam from INDRESMAT – both sprayable through drone technology – GreenThermoWall (GTW) is a unique highly thermal and acoustic insulating green wall with low C-Footprint that will allow a reduction in the energy consumption of buildings, as well as improving the sustainability and circularity of the employed materials while reducing the air pollution contaminants in the cities.
Through a circular approach on recyclable and bio-based material, GTW will be the first Green Wall, usually known for their benefits on air decontamination and temperature cooling of cities, that integrate thermal and acoustic insulation properties while allowing a fast installation in any façade (even difficult of access) through a cost-efficient drone spraying technology.

GTW’s expectations from the acceleration programme:

  • successfully develop and test the GTW system
  • achieve scalability and replicability for the system with the correct technical advice and supervision

DigiCirc financial support: €110,000

DigiCirc fund allowed the team to acquire a drone with appropriate features able to fly with required weight and also incorporated a PUR spray machine with a successful integration with the drone, thus enabling a first GTW demo pilot application.
