Astrid Palmieri is Regional Lead Sustainability for EMEA. At BASF for 15 years, she has covered various roles including logistics, procurement and strategic marketing, always keeping an eye on sustainability. Astrid has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and a joint Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Business Administration from Yale University.

Raquel Gaião Silva is a marine biologist and works as associate in the Ocean & Climate tech VC Fund at Faber, currently investing in deep tech early stage startups aiming for positive impact on ocean sustainability, climate action and decarbonization of the global economy. She has been working for the past years in the field of ocean literacy and blue entrepreneurship, helping startups grow and connect to the ecosystem.
